The empties road so far
Ok, I’m going to be honest here, I’m a skincare and makeup
product hoarder. I always like to buy product I see that I liked and also is
recommended by all other peoples. Which this is a problem, I tend to forget
what I bought and I might buy it again or I bought it and forget about that.
So here I am, starting a series of blogging to show off to
the world what I have bought and used. LOL…this might help me to get more
motivated to use up my product so that I have something to blog about. But
first and foremost, I must be motivated to blog even when I’m busy.
Enough with explaining myself, let’s start with the empties
road…
Disclaimer: All the opinions are solely based on my personal
point of view, different peoples might have different reaction and view on the
products. Reading discretion are recommended.
1.
Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic Fre-C Sun Protector with Vitamin C & E SPF
50+/PA +++
The product itself is yellowish white and lotion lookalike.
It will be hard to spread out if your skin is not moisturized enough. After few
hours later your skin might start to feel dry and tight where vitamin C & E
is the cause of this. Because it is SPF 50 which is why it is hard to spread
out on the skin and is very dense. It does make your skin looks a little bit
whiter but is not like a white cast that is so obvious. Never tried it with a
foundation or bb cream on though. The moment I put it on I feel like it does
improve my complexion a lot.
Thought: Will I
buy again? Maybe. Although the SPF and PA value are high which is what I
looking for but it must be applied after all the skincare steps or after
moisturizer. Being a lazy person that I am I wouldn’t do that. I will save this
option to last if there are nothing that I could find to substitute that.

Innisfree Long Wear Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ (No. 13
)
This is the first ever face makeup product that I bought. I bought a few years before but only started to use it within recent years. Hoarder problem. But no worry the safety film is still on, yeah, this is something to concern about.
I’m surprised that I could pass by using this shade no.13
the lightest shade of all without peoples telling me that it is too white or
weird on me. But I myself does see the difference with my own skin tone. The
one that I got is the first generation of the cushion where the whole concept
is still new to the market hence there were no refill or detachable case.
The product itself has this little smells that I couldn’t
describe it. I heard somewhere that all Innisfree product have this one smell.
But for me, it is still okay not to the point where I feel uncomfortable. The
product feels great on my skin it wasn’t too oily or too dry. When I put it on,
I do feel that it does provide certain degree of coverage as it blur out the pores
look on my face from afar.
My only problem is with the pact. The pact itself is great,
it is very squishy and bouncy on the skin. It pick up the product very well and
spread it out evenly. Maybe I don’t know how to handle the pact nicely or use
it properly which caused the pact being broken down into small pieces.
Thought: Liked
the formula of this product as this version of the product suits for humid
climate like Malaysia where I lived. Will I buy again? Yes. I have no bad
comment for this except the pact which is my own personal problem. Plus I
haven’t had a chance to try other brands product which I don’t have much experience
to judge.
1 Bio-Essence Bio Gold Rose Gold Water (travel
size)
I was thinking it is originally meant for using it as a
toner because of the word “water” in its name. The consistency was nothing like
water instead it is like a gel type. Because of its consistency I use it before
my other serum which are much thicker than this. The product contains gold
flakes in the solution.
There were this one period of time, putting gold into
skincare is something to be brag about and hype about. It is said that gold
have chemical that can help with anti-aging department but those product are so
far out of reach for me. I was lucky to find one in Watsons that are near to
me. I bought this on offer and is in a travel size.
The first thing in my thought are GOLD!! I’m a little
sceptical about the use of gold flakes in skincare. Since I bought this product
in travel size and I couldn’t judge much. For the short period of time that I
was using this product I feel my skin are extremely hydrated. The gold flakes
melted into the skin once it comes into contact. The product itself is being
easily absorbed into the skin.
Thought: Will I
buy again? Yes. I did love to give this a try in full size product as I liked
the
moisturizing effect it gives. Plus I’m wondering what those gold flakes
could bring to my skin. This is the first ever product that I tried that
contains gold in it. Not sure if this is too intense for my age.
1 Corsx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+/PA +++
I think I have found the sunscreen of my love. The consistency
is like a cream and easily spread out. A little goes a long way. The moment I
applied it and spread it out evenly it does have a little cool feeling on my
cheeks area where it tends to be more drying.
When I using this sunscreen never have I had a moment I feel
that my skin are too dry when I am being lazy and skip all the skincare steps. To
me, it was more like I applied a cream rather like a sunscreen. No white cast
no oily problem and no sticky feeling. A little bit surprise that this product
does not have a problem with the formula being too dense when it have such high
SPF and PA value. Good job, Corsx!!
Thought: Will I
buy again? Hell yes and going to stock up. Corsx, I want to be greedy here and
asking to make the volume of the product bigger and don’t discontinue this
product, please!! I want to use this product forever.
Hada Labo Air UV Moisture SPF 50/PA+++
My impression on this product is that the product is so
watery and slippery that I sometimes I lose control on the amount that I use.
Sometimes I used too much and sometimes I used too less that I feel like skin
is drying up.
I like this product too as it is very moisturizing when you
are using the amount. I am guessing that they don’t focus much on the value of
the SPF as the formula of the product is quite watery not as dense as the
other.
The product is so small that I thought I could have use up
in just few days which in reality is not. I had been using this for a month and
now just a few drops away to empties. So I guess I will just put this in here
to share to guys.
Thought: Will I buy again? No. Considering the size of the
product and the price I will back off for now. The product is great for someone
who really hate the feeling of the sunscreen. As it just feel like you are
splashing water on your face but with the condition that you could control the
amount that your pour out from the container which it is not for me.
The road so far has only been this far and there are so many
more product to go. I really need to get start to use up all that products so
that I could buy more. That’s all for the blog today hope this could help in
somewhere or the other, I’m guessing probably not. XD
