HAUNTED
Recently I finished a Netflix original drama series
“Haunted”. Glad I could found a way to have a chance to watch the drama from
Netflix. Because I heard Netflix is awesome.
Quote from Netflix official site about the drama,
“Real people sit down with friends and family to share
terrifying true stories from their past, re-created through chilling
re-enactments.”
It is release in 2018 so there is just season 1 for now. Not
sure if there will be season 2. There are only 6 episode in this season. Each
one with different peoples telling different stories.
I think this is a good choice if you just looking for a
quick thing to watch and don’t want to rush to finish the story line. Each
episode is like only 23-25 minutes long.
After finishing the series, the one thing that I was dying
to know is how the people who going through that has overcome or deal with it.
Not going to spoil the story line but just so you know that
there are some episode of the stories they didn’t tell the end story or how they
even overcome that.
I guess they purposely did that to let the viewers to figure
out themselves.
The story that really leave impression on me is the “The
Slaughterhouse” and “The Alien Infection”. One is pure horror and one is pure
fantasy. Well, I’m willing to give the story a sense of doubt.
I think this is a great concept because things like that
only the person being affected knows how it feel and how it left a mark on them
to make them become who they are today.
It is good to give a piece of mind to other peoples who
don’t understand or thinking that the person is crazy at first.
The acting is very
nice it did bring the viewers into the story and do let the viewers to experience
what the person experience before.
I think it is named “Haunted” for a reason where it is no
necessary related to paranormal stuff it also meant for those who have a bad
childhood memories or traumatic experience.
Overall, I think this will be either a hate or love option.
Hate: The stories has
no conclusion, the viewers are left there with no answers of whether the
current situation have gotten better or worse or the problem is still unsolved.
Love: The story is short and you can watch it with just a
snap of finger in one go.
