[Travel] Thailand trip Part 1

Good days everyone!!!! It’s been long time since I last update my blog. Well, I’m still constantly finding ways to bring myself to the next level. I can’t seems to have good schedule to really posting on the blog due to my hectic study course. Well, at least for me is hectic lol…. (I’m sorry XD)

As you all know is that time of the year~~~Its Chinese New Year yah~~~ I spent my whole 3 month semester break with my half family, helping with their business. Though working is hard, but hey, no work no play~~you got me…hahhaaha..Since is New Year time, the family decided to go on a trip to relax from all the hectic and heavy work that they have, so I am going to THAILAND!!! Horray!!!!

Here comes the story of the trip, BEHOLD~~~~

Before that, a question for all my beloved readers out there, did you guys like to read in a paragraph mode or just one sentence at a time? Basically what I meant is that did you like paragraph-essay mode or just one sentence one paragraph?  Comment down below let me know :)

On to the trip story….

Our flight is at morning 9 o’clock on 19 February but instead of able to have nice sleep they decided to wake up very early in the morning like 6am, ya, 6AM oh, come on!!!But nothing else I could do, so I have to follow them. Since is the first day of the Chinese New Year, therefore they pay a visit to their side of family before actually go to the airport. (Remember how I say that it is my half family) So after this we are heading for the airport and waiting for departure.

Small story on the flight….

The first thing that I do after I hop on the flight and have my luggage nicely placed is to get myself some nice sleep. After a nice or you can say ‘dead’ short sleep, I was disturbed by a passenger siting behind me which was a child. I don’t know what this kid was trying to do, probably the kid saw me trying to sleep so he was like keep on yelling like in my ears.

I can’t take it so I adjust my position but he is still yelling non-stop for like 20 minute or so I no sure but I know is very long just before the plane is ready for landing. This kid even try to touch or poke me while I try very hard to go back to sleep. I heard of an adult voice sitting beside this kid, I was like can’t you tell him to stop cause I am tired here and trying to get some sleep, I just don’t know how I shall react…speechless..

Don’t do that when you are at public place.

After a 1 or 2 hours flight depends, we reached KLIA International Airport. So we decided to have lunch while all the other sisters took this opportunity to enjoy the duty free shopping there. Though for me, I would like to but because…ah…is a long story so at the end I opt not to enjoy the shopping.
After lunch, we ready to check in and heading to the departure hall for the 5pm something flight.

I can’t really remember how long the flight to Thailand is, but when we actually reached the hotel it will be between 9-10pm. After all the procedure is done at the Don Mueang International Airport, we all headed to outside to wait for a van to pick us up which was booked by one of the sister.

Yes, that’s the interior of the van that picked us up, the driver can actually speak Hokkien which is one of the Chinese slang. This have make things easy for us because we don’t know any Thailand language. From the airport we are heading to an area called Hua Hin, approximately it takes 2-3 hours’ drive. Therefore, we all grab some sleep on the van.

After a 2-3 hours drive and of course, they did stop at the roadside stall to have some taste of the local peoples food called Tom Yam. That night I didn’t ate much because I can’t take the spicy level. After a long drive, this is where we stop at.

Yup, we reached the hotel. This hotel is called Stonehead Hua Hin Hotel.  The interior design have this vintage and homey feel to it, if you can get what i mean. it makes me feel like this is a home not a hotel. I love how they set up and design the hotel, though is small but is very cute, >>>>More info

Now, into room that i am staying with other sister....

Before actually go to your room, remember this board, some sweet little note. Not need to be rushing because this hotel have not elevator, you have to walk up the stairs in order to go to your room. Yup, you heard me right, you have to carry your own luggage to your room. You will be lucky if there are some workers there to actually help you with that.

The room view will be in the sequence of when you entering the room...

The bathroom is just at your right hand side when you first entered the room.
After that just walk into the room....

So there you go, a little hotel room tour, even though we only stayed there for 2 days but i was missing this hotel probably because of the feeling and the environment that it gives. So definitely check out this hotel if you are heading to Hua Hin area. Though they are better option at this area which are a more high class hotel but i would prefer this environment more. But one turn off is that, though there are breakfast included is only about tea or coffee or juices, bread or biscuits. Maybe for some is a turn off but for me, this is just enough. Oh, and the stairs.

This photo is taken when we are leaving for Bangkok, as you can see in the most right hand side that tall building is a hotel but which i had forgot the name >.< During this morning we are out to search for some food to eat before the drivers come to pick us up. But unfortunately the food are too spicy to my taste so i ended up just wasted the food and eat nothing. This is the area around the hotel, the hotel is not situated by the roadside but it is situated deep inside a small road, which is free from traffic noise. Totally gonna miss this hotel, though there are no elevator to carry my luggage up but this is no a problem for me as i am a person like to pack things in a compact manner. If you get what i mean.

Yup, get your Thai baht ready for some warm up ;)

Up next, this will be the places that i visited while i was at Hua Hin..

So we went for the Floating market. We reached there at around 12pm something hence there are a lot of tourist waiting for the boats to fetch them. We waited for quite a long time, while waiting the tourist guide that followed us help us to cut some coconut for us. I think the coconut water was free because we bought a ticket. In other words, is self service area. It takes 1-2 hours drive from Hua Hin, is like to a neighborhood town. At first, we are thinking that it only take a few minutes to arrive since we are told by the previous driver that it is not that very far from where we live, but its actually quite far.

So i finally get on board after a long waiting. But while i was waiting i kept running to the toilet because my stomach was not accepting the Thai food, no matter what i ate for a meal, after a few hours i definitely need to search for the toilet even now i have something i still cannot take in. This is due to the spiciness in Thai food.

Yup, we are finally on boat, and i was the one who sit in front. When the driver started his engine and take us to the market, i mean on the way to the market, he will likely to speed up very fast that the bottom of the boat might get hits by the ground of the river therefore be sure to sit very still and clam. Enjoying the speed and the wind blow on your faces plus be sure to grab the front seats alone ;) LOL.... that's the things i enjoyed.

Yes, i am in love with this mango rice but no so in love that i will always carving for them because the calorie is quite high. One thing to try when you are in Thailand definitely try out this mango rice. If you can take up spicy food that's good. One thing to note for this mango rice is that the mango had to ripe enough and sweet enough to make everything a perfect blend.

Next up, is the Chang Puak Camp which is elephant camp. No entry fee is needed but if you wanted to have a ride on elephant that will cost 450 baht for one person. Mah~~i wasn't going to have the ride at first though but at the very end still i have to go because i was asked to. And therefore the photos, i didn't get the chances of walking deep inside the camp due to that. I missed the chances to find out what is inside the camp. Sigh...Well, when you are siting on the elephant, you must grab the metal chair as firmly as you can because there are no safety belt on the chair. Its feel like you can fall out any time. Because when the elephant walked, its stop and moved so you have this momentum to move for and back. I hope you see my point LOL...

Next stop is the Premium Outlet full of branded stuff like PlayBoy, HollyWood studios, Polo, Crocs, Timberland etc. This is my heaven to learn about the trends the ways to dress myself up. BUT i wasn't getting the chances because they are too rushing and i couldn't even get to spread up to my own way because i was told no to. Hence, i wasn't getting the chances to really spend up the Thai Baht. Well, kinda sad though, because my new goal is to give my wardrobe a little bit upgrade. But well, i didn't make it. I will definitely revisit this when i have the chances. Whenever you purchase something keep the receipt don't lose and don't throw it away because you can change the receipt for something for example luggage, bags etc. In other words, the receipts carries some kind of points. Therefore remember!!

Next stop is a night food court. It is called Cicada. It feels like more like a park. After you walked in you will see a small little hunt like the one shown in the photo on the left. Yup, you have to line up to buy the coupon because there are no cash used inside instead the coupon is used. Therefore, buy the coupon as much as you want at the end it is refundable to the amount that is left. There are tons of stalls in this food court and hell lots of peoples. Make sure to grab the seats first before actually go and ordering the food. Hey, the food won't run away right? LOL...just joking

So that's the trip at Hua Hin area. I will divide the post in two parts to avoid overload blog posts. I will make my best effort to post my blog more often. Stay tuned for the second part talking about the trip i have at Bangkok.

There will be a blog post about the things that i have bought during the trip though is not many but hey sharing is fun ya know~~hahaha

Alright, i need to get my school stuff done. See you next time round. Cheers :) xoxo
