Makeup Remover Showdown!!!

Hello Sparkly , Akino here. Today Akino decided to share something about the makeup remover she had and how she think about them....Well, not exactly makeup remover more like cleanser for makeup.

Anyways, let's get started. 

Yes, Akino will do a comparison between Nu Skin Pure Cleansing Gel and Neutrogena Deep Clean Makeup Cleansing Water.

This writing is based on Akino's personal experience of using these products for a long time. 

Nu Skin Pure Cleansing Gel

This version is suitable for oily to combination skin. 

When Akino buy this, i buy it in one set of the product which included with moisturizer, toner, day cream, night cream and recovery fluid/ serum.

How Akino feels about this:

When first i use this i was so surprise and freak out that this cleanser has a scent like an perfume which bring back my memory of being a baby because it smell like a powder a baby will use after they bath, you what i mean. Maybe is because of the papaya and the fragrance ingredient in it. I get this set of skincare product around the month of March i guess. Just a little amount of the cleanser will do the job therefore as you can see from above there still lots amount to use.

I have an oily t zone on my face, i can feel the oiliness after the whole day and some area is dry like my eyelid area especially. After i use this product to clean my face it leaves a smooth and moisture and clean without any greasy feel to it. 

This cleanser is also meant for your day to day basis cleaning even though you don't wear any makeup on. The most happiest thing i feel is that the small little devil hide insides my pores is out of my pores. My pores is no longer their home. Victory claimed!!! Ahhahaha.....XD

Even though i try to do the exfoliate product that i being recommended by the counter girls it  doesn't work because it doesn't clean out the darkest deepest blackhead on my nose!!!! Grrrr.... I also tried a lot of other facial cleanser from any supermarket store or drug store for example, Biore pore stripes it just don't work on me.  

Texture is a sticky, gel like thingy. So make sure to wet your face first before you actually put on the product.

Neutrogena Deep Cleaning Makeup Cleansing Water

 

Sorry Sparkly, Akino can't find any product description or any other information around the net and from their offical website about this product. Probably is being take down or something but here is the link to some of the comment  So Akino juz gonna make this picture very big so that you all can read the words.

 It claims to clean the lip and eye and face makeup all in. It is a water based product as it says. Akino dislike this product because it always irritates my eyelids or eyes area. Sometimes cheek area too. I not sure whether is my skin problem or smthg. Akino just dislike this. A product which ia a water based is always good because the chemical can dissolves into the water easily and being washed away. 

Where Akino get it????? Akino get it at Watsons stores, i guess. Akino is being recommended by a friend.  

Akino also try out other Neutrogena product line which is Neutrogena Hydro Boost Clear Lotion Moisturizer. 

Akino also dislike this product because it stinged my face!!!! It also makes my skin to have a burning sensation. Akino don't know why. Probably my face is too dry??? No, I no gonna buy this product again. The link to this product in case you are interested

Time for the showdown~~~delenden~~delenden

UhUh~~Look at my sassy hands with the makeup product like BB Cream, Foundation, Eyeshadows, Brow pencil, Eyeliner liquid + Pencil + Crayon, Lipstick, Lip gloss, Finishing powder~~uhuh so sassy!!! XD

The photo on left will use for the Nu Skin Pure Cleansing Gel and the photo on right will use for Neutrogena Deep Makeup Cleansing Water. Its show time. 

Nu Skin Deep Pore Cleansing Gel

As you can see in using Nu Skin Pure Cleansing Gel in one wash everything is cleaned off. 

Make sure to wet your face before you apply the cleansing gel. 

After apply the gel and gently massage till everything is dissolves. As you can see it no actually produce any foams but it has the slippery feeling to it like a soap.

After that, clean it off and voila there you go smooth moisture and clean skin. 

As you can see you need a several try to really get things off, well not really. 

At first try, almost everything is gone left behind brow pencil, eyeliner pencil, crayon eyeliner and liquid eyeliner all are waterproof. 

Probably this is one of the reason this water based cleanser is nt working on them. 

But anyways, second try, i removed the waterproof liquid eyeliner, brow pencil. But not the eyeliner pencil and crayon eyeliner.

Even after several try, u still can actually sees the stain. Maybe it will clean off during your everyday skincare routine. 

Packaging

 Oh no, Akino broke the cap of the bottle. No really liking how the cap is so fragile T^T.  Overall, still liking the product because it just cleaned off everything in one wash. Super efficient. Gonna repurchase this when i used up. It cost me around RM 71 but worth the pay. Although is small bottle but it definitely last a long time because i wash my face with this every morning and night.

Overall, liking the packaging. It actually comes tgt with the little stopper like thingy which actually prevent you from pumping out the cleanser. This is super efficient when carry around especially when traveling. But Akino dislike the product because it sting my eyelid sometimes and i actually need to do several round of cleaning before actually can ensure 100% makeup off. 

So in overall, Akino is more liking the Nu Skin Pure Cleansing Gel for its scent and the job it performs. So Akino will definitely repurchase or restock this product in the future time. Neutrogena is a no no for Akino. Because it makes the face have the burning sensation and stinging thing going on.
